Hailing from Atlanta and New York City, Carmen and Troy met in college at North Carolina State University and began their careers in fashion as an intern, and in finance as a bank teller. Over 15 years of marriage and 3 children later; Carmen and Troy have come together to leverage their professional expertise to launch Fashion Family Finance.

Carmen is a closet therapist with over 20 years experience in fashion as a celebrity/network TV stylist, personal shopper and wardrobe consultant. Establishing her career in New York City, Carmen has worked across the spectrum of fashion from retail to corporate and with emerging boutique brands to high-end designers. Her portfolio includes personal shopping for Rihanna, managing at the luxury goods brand Dior, on-air styling at BET’s 106 & Park, consulting for Lululemon as well as partnering with brands, c-suite executives and an array of artists & entertainers. Carmen educates her clients on intentionally building a wardrobe in order to articulate their personal style.

Troy is a fractional CFO with over 20 years experience in finance across small business, commercial and corporate banking where he provided financial solutions, strategic advice and access to capital to business owners, corporate boards, private equity investors and nonprofit leaders. He specializes in healthcare, education and nonprofit but has worked across all industries and sizes including early-stage, middle market and large corporate. Troy has also served as a founder and board member for multiple organizations. Along with an MBA from Columbia Business School, he spent the majority of his career on Wall St working with global commercial and investment banks, including 14 years at JPMorgan Chase. Troy is driven as a leader to inspire, educate and empower.
